Galactic Regency Vampire Pirates
So: six months, many days and nights of doing manual page layouts and 25,000 words later, my new zine is finally finished.
It turned into a bit of a brick (100+ pages!), so at the moment I’m pricing it at $7. At the moment you can buy it at Sticky’s shop and also through their mail order department (which posts internationally).

After a nasty bout of bovine spongiform encephalopathy finishes off her beloved parents, Salina Blarnycroft is betrothed by her evil Uncle to the repulsive and spineless Earl, Timothy Tinderbits. But when dashing-and- possibly-supernatural pirate captain Julian Thunderstraight rescues her from her dreary existence and impending matrimonial doom, the two new lovers must flee the shadows of their turbulent pasts and overcome their fears on a journey that transcends stormy seas and the very laws of space itself!!

Okay, so this is brilliant. Was gripped all the way through, and was pleased that you used a genre with fairly predictable plot arcs but still managed to put some particularly surprising twists in it. I don’t want to give any spoilers away bit the bit about Margaret made me laugh particularly hard. And i especially like the use of font, of course. Well worth the wait I say. xx

It was the elaborate metaphors and similes involving fruit and vegetables that got me in. Ha ha ha!
